Lubelska Fabryka Maszyn Rolniczych S.A. (The Lublin Agricultural
Machines Factory Joint Stock Company) was established on the 6th of February
1991 as a transformed State property into a joint stock company.
The roots and the tradition of the Factory go back to 1840 when the first factory producing machines and devices for the agriculture was founded in Lublin (later on it was called The Threshing-Machine Factory and The Cast Iron Foundry "Wac³aw Moritz") and to 1874 when the Agricultural Machines and Tools Factory "M. Wolski and Company" was founded in Lublin.
Nowdays
the Factory has its location in Lublin, Budowlana 28 Street. It is one of the
SIPMA Capital Group companies. The companies produce and distribute mainly agricultural
machines and devices and they consequently occupy the leading positions in the
local market and enlarge the export percentage effectively.
Now the Factory is the largest Polish producer of PTO drive shafts used to transmit a net torque from a tractor power take-off shaft to a machine input shaft. They are made and sold in six sizes depending on the power take-off torque quantity: 130Nm, 250Nm, 400 Nm, 540 Nm, 630 Nm, 900 Nm, in nine lenght variants, with six types of connector holes and in connection with four types of overloading clutches (overrunning, friction, radial pin clutches and shear bolt ones). Generally about 300 types of PTO drive shafts are available. Also separate orders for special drive shafts are realized. Such a wide range of production assortment provides for all needs of the local agricultural machines industry.
In
the seventies a production of rake and tedders was launched and since then,
after several modernizations and improvements, they still have been produced.
The PTO drive shafts are equipped with reinforced protective plastic covers
in order to ensure the safety of users. They have successfully passed all obligatory
tests both home and abroad and have received the Quality Certificates of the
Warsaw Agricultural Research Institute (IBMER) - grade "B" and Deutsche
Prüfstelle für Land und Forstttechnik DPLF "CE" mark.
In 1999 a right to use a Safety Certificate for its PTO drive shafts was conceded to the Factory.
The highest quality of the Factory products is guaranteed by the Quality Certificate ISO 9001 in the area of designing, production, sales and servicing of PTO drive shafts which was granted to the Factory as the first Polish agricultural machines producer by the German certification company: Rheinisch-Westflischer TV e.V.
The certificates obtained for the drive shafts place them among the top
world standard products. The drive shafts comply with all up-to-date requirements
made both home and also in the foreign markets.
